Five queer refugees from Iran, living under temporary asylum in Turkey, agree to work with a gay filmmaker from abroad, intent on exposing Iran’s persecution of LGBTQ+ people. But when the director tries to sensationalize their story, they push back hard. Over time, they persuade him to abandon his preconceptions and recognize the intimacy, conflict, and unapologetic humor of life in exile.
